Is anyone else trying to lose weight after pregnancy?
My baby is five weeks old. I gained 55 pounds during my pregnancy. I lost 35 right away, the baby was 10 pounds!
The problem is I needed to lose 20 pounds before getting pregnant, So now I need to lose 40! It's also hard to find time to exercise with an infant.

My child will be three years old and I still have am 15 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. I'll be truthful...I was extremely stressed after having my child and used desert as a means to medicate.
I would recommend finding a gym like the YMCA that has a free daycare while you workout. Or taking child for a walk in the stroller. I will warn you that you may think you are busy now, but I wish I had taken those stroller walks before he could talk/walk and want. And now that he's developed into a personality....I hate being away from him even more than I did when he was an infant. At least when they are infants they are asleep and not missing you. So, make the most of this time to invest in yourself and loose the weight.
For me, hindsight is 20/20. The weight is coming off now, but I making a daily effort to log everything that goes in my mouth. Making sure I keep under a certain amount of calories and move/excercise in some way everyday. Even if its push ups in bedroom floor before going to bed.
You can do it. Don't panic.
